How to Create a Website – A Beginner's Guide [Part-1]

I'm Maiam Williams, a professional web designer from Uganda.

I wrote this beginner's guide to help the large number of people who want to create a website, but have absolutely no idea of what to do.

In Website Setup Guide, I show you exactly how to set up a proper, normal website with a .com domain name, from start to finish. I've omitted everything you don't need to know, so you can publish your site as fast as possible.

Setting up a website and running it this way will cost you about $3-4 per month in total. The information in this site is all free.

Many people have set up successful business websites, personal websites, and blogs, by following these instructions. It's very easy to set up a website by following this guide, but if you ever get stuck, you can email me[mariamwilliams786@gmail.com], and I'll let you know what you need to do.

Creating a website, in a nutshell

Take note of this overview. It's important.

To set up a website, you only need to do these two things:

1: Choose a domain name (i.e. something.com), and buy website hosting.

2: Create a website, using a web page editor or WordPress.

I will explain both of these things to you in the next two steps. Bookmark this page now, for future reference, and we'll begin with the first of these two steps
